Normally, the Lycopodium child starts learning things faster than other children of his age group do.<br>Lycopodium patient is thin, withered, full of gas and dry. Lacks vital heat; has poor circulation, cold extremities. Pains come and go suddenly. Sensitive to noise and odors.The head symptoms are worse from warm wraps and warm bed,The complaints of Lycopodium are likely to be worse at a fixed <br>time, viz., from four till eight o’clock <br>in the evening.The Lycopodium patient <br>is <br>flatulent, <br>distended like a drum, so that he can hardly breathe.<br>The Lyc. patient cannot eat oysters; they make him sick.</p><p>Lycopodium can become terrified by almost anything being alone, the dark, ghosts, even strange dogs. There is a great fear of suffering of any kind; thus the Lycopodium patient can become anxious about his health to the point of hypochondriasis. The fear and anxieties affect mostly the gastrointestinal tract. Lycopodium will go into a panic state if their boss at their work tells them that they have not done a good job, done a lousy job etc., when they are reprimanded. They may receive some hints that their job may be in danger if their performance does not improve. Then Lycopodium will go into a panic state, and the inclination will be to just run away from the situation. They simply want to leave the place, go away, they cannot face it, they don&#x27;t have the courage to face the situation. And that brings about a state of anxiety, of fear. A fear even of people, of coming into contact with other individuals. They want to be alone, and at the same time they feel weak. And that is why they say Lycopodium likes to be alone in the house, but wants somebody around to feel that somebody is there (in the next room, in the garden, ...), but it doesn&#x27;t want to be bothered by that person. <br>The anxiety of Lycopodium develops the moment he feels he is alone, he has no support.<br>Lycopodium has a strong will and weak body. Most of their actions are based on strong will. Even if the body does not work, they will drag their body along.Lyco personalities have varied interests, but <br>whatever they take up, they always succeed in it.<br> As they grow in life, their decisions are more intellectual than emotional. However, they will do many things from the heart and will go out of their way to help people and not expect anything in return. That is why when they are thanked, tears come to their eyes.Lycopodium loves power, control and discipline. Usually Lycopodium is a very good administrator.Till the time they are in a state of health and position, everything is fine. But once the downfall starts, they develop tremendous anxiety and anticipation. Now it becomes important for them to remain and prove the power that they have and so they do not like any opposition.</p><p>“Dread of men and dread of solitude; irritability and melancholy.”</p><p>This dread of men is not always a state of dread in women. It is a dread of people, and when that is fully carried out in the Lyc. patient you see that she dreads the presence of new persons, or the coming in of friends or visitors she wants to be only with those that are constantly surrounding her does not want to be entirely alone; wants to feel that there is somebody else in the house, but does not want company; does not want to be talked to anyone except his own friends.The Lycopodium patient often weeps in the act of receiving a friend or meeting an acquaintance.</p><p>Lyc. also has a religious insanity, which has a mild and simple beginning, a matter of melancholy.</p>
